Marilyn Williams, LCSW, CNP, CET

Marilyn earned her Masters of Social Work from Catholic University and has worked for over 27 years as a licensed clinical social worker. She spent 12 years studying Bowen Family Systems alongside Dr. Edwin P. Friedman and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Social Work at George Mason University.

Marilyn's primary interest is in helping her clients calm emotional reactivity in order to realize their soul's potential. By combining her vast experience in working with individuals, couples and groups, with Neurofeedback and the Enneagram, she provides her clients this opportunity.

Marilyn is a Certified NeurOptimal ™ Neurofeedback Practitioner. In her Psychotherapy practice, she combines neurofeedback with family systems thinking in order to accelerate the pace of change and transformation. Psychotherapy and Neurofeedback complement each other by helping clients recognize generational patterns of emotional and physiological reactivity, by increasing the brain's ability to facilitate changes - changes that make spiritual access possible.

Since 1993, Marilyn has been an Enneagram Teacher in the Narrative Tradition ™. In addition to employing it in her practice, she teaches and lectures widely on this powerful personality typology.

Marilyn offers workshops on the Enneagram and Soulful Parenting.
