Massage Therapy
Melting Muscles
![]() Swedish Massage
Swedish massage relieves tension and the effects of stress through a combination of long strokes, kneading and friction techniques, combined with active and passive
movements of the joints. Swedish massage promotes deep relaxation and improves circulation
and range of motion.
Deep Tissue/Trigger Point Massage
Deep Tissue and Trigger Point massage releases chronic patterns of tension and pain in the body through firm, slow and varyingly deep strokes and deep finger
pressure on contracted areas ("knots") in the muscle.
Muscle Release Technique (Myofascial Release)
Compiled by Howard Rontal, Hellerwork practitioner, the Muscle Release Technique works to soften and expand the connective tissue below the skin and surrounding the muscles.
This technique helps to release muscles caught in chronic tight and pain patterns and results in fluidity and ease of movement.
